I often see multitudes of resources for survivors of abuse and I’m glad I do: It’s so important for people to learn how to heal from physical and verbal beatings.

I’m not writing this article to minimize the survivors’ pain. I’m writing it because abusers experience a deep level of pain and often feel too much shame to change their behavior.
