1810: Celebrating Mexico’s Independence
Mexico is filled with amazing food, wonderful people, and an incredible culture. Believe it or not, Mexico was the first place in all of North America to use the printing press in 1935. The country is also home to the world’s largest tamale: It is three feet long and it weighs one hundred and fifty pounds. You can find this wonderful creation at the Feast of All Saints, which takes place every year on November 1.
