Paul replayed the evening his mind: The woman toppling to the floor, the way he had made a run for it when he thought Billy Jones had seen him, the way he’d escaped.

That had been years ago. Now he was cozy, safe and sound, in a nice little cabin in the middle of nowhere, on top of the mountain. No one would find him here. No one except his ghosts.
