There’s a Reason I Want to Learn French before I Learn Spanish

My mother is from Canada, and, if I’m being honest, I feel more at home there than I ever have in the U.S.

While I like the New Mexican sunsets and the idea of the spirit of the Wild West, I don’t particularly enjoy its many racist and sexist implications.
