Unfortunately, domestic abuse is far too common these days. With the pandemic, it has only increased: People are regularly being beaten by their spouses, who they these individuals loved them. They have to face the reality of sheltering in place on a daily basis, even if this means constantly being in physical and emotional pain at the hands of their abusers.
